Vineyard Scholtes Website Redesign

A fresh pour: mobile-first redesign of Vineyard Scholtes website

As part of my permanent position as a ui designer at custom coding, I recently designed the new website for Scholtes, a family-run vineyard located along the picturesque Mosel River in Germany. Known for their handcrafted organic wines, Scholtes needed a digital presence that reflects the authenticity and care behind their work. The new design emphasizes clean aesthetics, intuitive navigation, and a strong visual connection to the vineyard’s heritage and natural surroundings. My goal was to create a user-friendly platform that tells their story, highlights their organic philosophy, and invites visitors to explore and connect with their exceptional wines.

Mobile-First Wine Experience

The website represents a fresh approach to wine e-commerce, crafted with mobile users at the forefront of every design decision. Built on mobile-first principles, this project prioritizes the seamless browsing experience that modern wine enthusiasts expect when discovering new bottles on their smartphones. The clean, intuitive interface ensures that vineyard stories, tasting notes, and purchase flows work flawlessly across all devices, while the responsive design gracefully scales up to desktop without losing the intimate, personal feel that makes wine selection special. By starting with the constraints and opportunities of mobile screens, Vineyard Sholtes delivers a truly accessible wine discovery platform that meets customers wherever they are.
